The Logan River Quartet was founded in 2020. The group has performed a numerous weddings, banquets and other events across Cache Valley.
The members of the quartet first met and performed together as music students at Utah State University. After graduating, in order to continue their music-making journey together they established the Logan River Quartet.

Amy Thacker Anderson, Violin
Amy Thacker Anderson began violin lessons at the age of 3 and fell in love with the violin. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Violin Performance from Utah State University. She has played the violin for 22 years and have been teaching privately for the last 7 years. She is an active member of the Suzuki Association of America.
She is committed to being a life long learner. She strives for excellence as a performer, educator, and human being. In the spirit of the Suzuki community, I believe everyone should have the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive regardless of their ability status, cultural heritage, religion, age, or socio-economic status.

Estelle Rhodes, Violin
Estelle began playing the violin at the age of 3. Starting at such a young age has given her opportunities to study with a variety of teachers and participate in many orchestra and chamber music groups, including the American Festival Orchestra and the Utah Festival Opera
Estelle lives in Cache Valley, Utah with her husband and young son. Estelle enjoys cooking and spending time in the outdoors with her family.
Estelle earned a degree in Violin Performance from USU under the direction of Rebecca McFaul and the Fry Street Quartet.
Since finishing her bachelors degree in 2016, she has gone on to study yoga, completing a 200-hour and a 300-hour training under the direction of Emily Perry. She has also studied Ayurveda in India and Trauma yoga at Kripalu in Massachusetts.

Ryn Haubner-Sheridan, Viola
Ryn began music lessons on the viola at the age of seven. Later she played violin, and continued on both instruments throughout high school before settling on the viola as a primary instrument.
Her musical education includes experience with the Young Musicians of Virginia and the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Suzuki Strings Programs. In 2010 she toured with the SIUE Suzuki Tour group, visiting and performing throughout Spain.
She completed my Bachelor Degree in Viola Performance in 2017, studying with Bradley Ottesen at Utah State University. In 2019 she graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Masters Degree in Suzuki Pedagogy (teaching), under the mentorship of Dr. Karin Hallberg, Dr. Jacquelyn Schwandt and Dr. Louise Scott.
She has performed with the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra, Skylight City String Quartet, American Festival Chorus and Orchestra and Cache Civic Ballet Orchestra.
In addition to nurturing her string studio, she coaches young musicians with the Chamber Music Project and participates in discussions around music teaching and personal musical development.
During her spare time, she enjoys cooking, running, and learning about psychology.

Erin Gordon, Cello
Erin is a native of Cache Valley and has over 15 years of cello playing experience and has been teaching for 10 years.
She is a graduate of Utah State University where she studied Cello Performance with Anne Francis-Bayless of the Fry Street Quartet. She has coached quartets in the Chamber Music Project, teaches orchestra through Mountain West String Academy, and has adjudicated various music competitions over the years.
When she’s not playing her cello, she enjoys spending time with her family and creating art over various mediums.
